All of our kittens are raised in our home and are born in our bedroom where we can keep a close eye on mom and the new additions. We take extra steps to ensure your kitten is extremely healthy, well socialized, and litter box trained before going to your new home. They are raised in home and thoroughly spoiled before going to their new homes! Our babies are ready for their new homes at 12 weeks of age. Each baby receives a wonderful custom bag, custom krinkle toys, baby photos, and tons of toys. Our primary concern is the happiness of our kittens and we take extra steps to ensure the best fit possible between adopter and baby.
Health is of utmost importance to us, thus our breeders are ultrasound by a certified cardiologist every six months to a year. We are also in the process of screening all our cats for PKD, another health issue in felines. All of our pet kittens go to their new homes with the following INCLUDED in their purchase price: * Three year congenital and genetic health guarantee. We price our kittens according to how closely they meet the breed standard. Pricing is in no way indicative of temperament! We do allow show quality kittens to go to pet homes and they are priced accordingly. Our pet kittens are generally priced between $1000 and $1500, with the occasional lower priced kitten. Breeder quality are $1500 to $2000. Kittens of show quality are $2000 and up.
Our babies are handled on a daily basis and socialized to ensure they are well rounded before going home. They not only are socialized to us and our visitors and friends, but to our dogs as well- a large German Shepherd and a Border Collie. Nails are clipped on a weekly basis and they are introduced to bathing before they go home to imprint these regular events into their lives. We also play various music including a CD compiled by the Guide Dogs for the Blind organization that is used to imprint their young pups to loud and random noises. This is as vital to a confident kitten as it is to a puppy and we find it helps our babies to be even more confident even when they go through their "fear" period of development. Kittens go home no earlier than 12 weeks of age as it is a vital time for socialization and training with their mother and litter mates. Kittens taken too early often develop behavioral and litter box issues later on.
The Bengal cats we use in our program were very carefully selected for not only their outer beauty and type, but because of the healthy pedigrees and outstanding temperaments they have. Although our cats are from Supreme Grand Champion lines, we truly feel that a title is only as good as the paper it is written on. We only breed from cats who have been HCM screened on a yearly basis by a certified cardiologist! This is a must for any responsible breeder! We will gladly provide you with the reports from testing. We also test all of our cats for FeLV, FIV, and TriTrich.
